"Laguna is the first place that I visited when I ventured to Orange County as a young adult... My first experience here was on a date, around 1966, we drove down the coast to see the Festival of Arts. I fell in love - not with my date - but with this place. The beaches, the art, and the ambiance. There's something in the air around here, or maybe it's in the water.... Anyone who lives in Laguna knows that it's something special and unique, and simply can't be found anywhere else.

"And this very special quality is certainly reflected in the real estate prices. Property in Laguna is a precious commodity, where even the 'tear downs' can go for over a million dollars. In my opinion, the prices are justified. It's all about supply and demand - there is only so much land in Laguna, and with so many buyers clamoring to have a piece of 'The Real O.C.', I don't think there's much chance of prices decreasing by any significant amount.
